Dani Ceballos enters the game and replaces M. Kovačić.
Two minutes of time added on and the final whistle will be blown shortly.
Still time for one more change from Real Madrid, as Kovacic has his spot taken by Ceballos.
90' +1
Leganes had the chances in the second half to get themselves back into the game but they never really showed the sort of attacking intent to suggest that were possible.
90'
Penalty goal scored by Sergio Ramos for Real Madrid!
GOAL! Sergio Ramos tucks home with a low effort to the goalkeeper's left, sealing three points for Zinedine Zidane's side.
89'
PENALTY! Superb charging run from Kovacic and he surges into the area, where he's met with pressure and goes to ground under a clumsy challenge.
88'
CHANCE! Real Madrid have a chance to extend their lead as Bale has a ball lofted over to him, beating his defender and flashing an effort across the face of goal.
87'
Marcos Llorente enters the game and replaces Isco.
Isco is now sacrificed by Zidane and it's clear Real Madrid intend to hold onto their narrow lead as the more defensive minded Marcos Llorente is introduced.
86'
Rubén Pérez gets yellow.
The first time I have ever seen a goalkeeper booked for simulation. Utterly bizarre.
Perez now picks up a booking but it's for a challenge, not an Oscar worthy tumble.
85'
Iván Cuéllar gets yellow.
Yellow card for goalkeeper Cuellar, who rolls around on the floor after Hernandez lunges in on him. A booking is perhaps harsh for his reaction as anywhere else on the field it would probably have been a free-kick in his favour.
84'
Gabriel may be the most unluckiest player ever. For the second time this game, the sensitive area of his midrift has been struck by the ball.
82'
SAVE! Real Madrid have remembered how to attack! A slick move ends with Bale cutting the ball back to Isco on the edge of the area, who flashes a shot towards goal but it's held by Cuellar.

Description
80'
Leganes entered this evening's game with one of the best defensive records in La Liga and their display shows why. With the score tonight, both they and Real Madrid have conceded 27 this season.
78'
Heading towards the final ten minutes of the game and Leganes are still in with a shout, as long as they start to link-up better in the final third. Real Madrid have once again failed to impress.
76'
G. Bale enters the game and replaces K. Benzema.
First change of the night for Real Madrid and it will hopefully spark some life into their attack. Benzema is the ban making way, with Gareth Bale heading on.
75'
Real Madrid have done nothing since the break. What did Zidane do, sing a lullaby?
73'
Amrabat, incidentally, is extremely unlikely to provide the equaliser for Leganes. He hasn't scored in La Liga since 2015.
72'
N. Amrabat enters the game and replaces Omar Ramos.
Final change for Leganes, as Omar Ramos is replaced my Amrabat. The former has barely been involved tonight.
71'
Real Madrid starting to liven up and Benzema has become involved. He's largely been a passenger this evening, although he was involved in the build-up for the second goal.
69'
Leganes briefly down to ten as Gabriel Pires receives treatment after being hit by the ball in a delicate region. After catching his breath, he's back on the field.
67'
Penalty appeals for Leganes, as El Zhar tumbles to the ground after being sandwiched between two defenders. It would have been a very contentious call though and play continues.
66'
A very good spell for Leganes this and they'll be delighted to have kept Real Madrid quiet since the start of the second half. I'm sure there will be changes from Zidane fairly soon though.
64'
STAT: A decent one from Opta here. Today is the first time that Casemiro has scored and registered an assist in the same game. He's found himself in his more regular area of the field since the restart, sitting in front of the defensive line.
SAVE! Golden opportunity for Leganes! El Zhar is fed through down the right and he puts the ball into a dangerous area for Beavue, who fires an effort towards goal that is superbly saved by Casilla.
62'
It may not be the biggest Madrid derby in the La Liga calender but a bite has developed in the second half, giving the referee a lot more work to do.
60'
An hour gone in the outskirts of Madrid and Los Blancos haven't offered much of note since the restart, which has allowed Leganes to grow into the game.
59'
A decent area for Leganes to deliver with the free-kick and Rico's cross towards the far post finds Beavue, who's header deflects behind for a corner. They go for an out swinger and it's easily dealt with, not causing the same problems as Eraso's deliveries in the first half did.
57'
Sergio Ramos gets yellow.
Who had 57 minutes in the Sergio Ramos yellow card sweepstake? He's the first Real Madrid man in the book this evening after a coming together with El Zhar.
55'
Better from Leganes, who surge forward down the left, but Rico's low cross into the area is cleared away by Varane.
53'
Very much as you were in the game, with Real Madrid comfortably dealing with Leganes' pressure and the hosts not offering much going forward.
51'
Diego Rico gets yellow.
First yellow card of the game is issued to Rico, who charges into Varane clumsily.
50'
Real Madrid have certainly been the better side throughout but the game is still very much in the balance whilst their advantage remains at just a single goal.
48'
Decent period of possession for Leganes to open the second period but they continue to struggle to break down Real Madrid's defensive line.
46'
M. Mantovani enters the game and replaces D. Siovas.
Rubén Pérez enters the game and replaces Gerard Gumbau.
It's actually two changes at the break for Leganes, the first of which is in defence where Mantovani replaces Siovas.
The second change for the hosts in in midfield, where Gumbau is replaced by Perez.
45'
Edging towards the interval and Zidane will be concerned that his side aren't fully in control of this tie, despite responding superbly after falling behind early on.
KICK-OFF! Underway for the second half, where Leganes get us started and now attack to the right.
43'
A decent passage of play for Leganes towards the end of the first half and it's clear that this Real Madrid defence is shaky, especially from set-pieces.
41'
Better from Leganes, who win a corner and it's another chance for Eraso to put the ball into the danger zone. It's the same sort of delivery that causes the same sort of concern for Real Madrid's defence but this time Los Blancos get it away.
39'
Leganes need to do more with the ball when they get into the final third. The wide players are lacking support in the middle, with Beavue leading the line on his own and looking extremely isolated.
37'
Zidane's side continue to put Leganes under intense pressure when they don't have the ball, not allowing the hosts to clear their lines or catch their breath. It's a relentless approach from a side desperate to find consistency.
35'
The key for Leganes now is not to concede again before the break but they've having to cope with another period of Real Madrid pressure late in the first half.
33'
Isco twists and turns into a dangerous area, working his way inside from the left flank and flashes a shot over the bar.
31'
Real Madrid, unsurprisingly, unstoppable when they turn on the heat. They've lacked that stellar cutting edge on numerous occasions this season but the talent is clearly still there, even if they are without their heavy hitters.
29'
Casemiro has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Lucas Vázquez.
Edging towards the half hour mark and Leganes will be delighted with how things have gone so far. They've kept Real Madrid's attack quiet, although they'll hope to do more with the ball when they have control.
With that assist, Vazquez now has one goal and three assists from his last two La Liga matches. He's certainly deserving of these opportunities.
GOAL! The curse of the commentator strikes! A fantastic move from Real Madrid who tear Leganes apart with one-touch football. Benzema and Casemiro are involved in the build-up, with the latter tucking home after Vazquez's final pass.
27'
Hernandez muscles El Zhar off the ball and unleashes Real Madrid's charge but the through ball to Benzema finds the Frenchman in an offside position.
25'
The Real Madrid onslaught has subsided for now and it's allowed Leganes to enjoy a decent period in the game. They're yet to create anything from open play and set-pieces will be crucial if they're to retake the lead.
23'
Dangerous tackle from El Zhar on Hernandez and the Leganes man is fortunate to avoid a booking.
22'
Leganes' turn to earn a free-kick in a decent area, which is chipped into the middle of the box but is easily dealt with by Casemiro. The hosts get the ball back but can't work an opportunity, with Casilla getting a goal kick.
20'
A free-kick for Real Madrid in a decent position is taken quickly by Asensio but it's a waste, as he elects to take it quickly but his pass towards the left flank dribbles behind for a goal kick.
18'
The game still very much hangs in the balance. Real Madrid have dominated play since conceding the opening goal but their defence still looks relatively frail.
16'
SAVE! Real Madrid are getting a foothold in the game and Asensio does well to work his way into the box, forcing a decent save from Cuellar down low.
15'
Remarkably, this extends Real Madrid's poor defensive run. Zidane's side haven't kept a clean sheet in La Liga since hitting five past Sevilla at the start of December!
13'
Vazquez is certainly the unsung hero for Real Madrid this season. Seven goals is a tremendous return for a fringe player and he's continued his fine run of form, having provided two assists in the win against Real Betis at the weekend.
11'
Lucas Vázquez has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Casemiro.
GOAL! An immediate response from Real Madrid! They've been on the front foot since conceding and Leganes miss the opportunity to clear the ball, with Kovacic feeding a ball through that finds Vazquez and it's a superb finish. It's his seventh of the season.
Kovacic's pass initially looked set to find Casemiro but the Brazilian didn't get it under control, although it seems he had a touch before Vazquez took possession.
9'
A dream start for the hosts and it's exactly what Real Madrid won't have wanted. Zidane has been under pressure this season and his decision to make numerous changes looks to have backfired.
7'
An incredibly scrappy and somewhat bizarre goal. In reality, it's a diving header from the centre-back! Zidane will be furious with the defending though.
6'
Unai Bustinza has scored a goal for Leganes!
GOAL! Leganes take the lead! Eraso's corner isn't dealt with and causes all sorts of danger, as it's flicked on at the near post towards Bustinza. He pokes it towards goal and it's well saved by Casilla but the defender isn't done with his attempt, bravely diving towards the ball and getting his head onto Varane's attempted clearance.
4'
SAVE! First shot of the game is from Real Madrid, as Casemiro fires a shot towards goal from distance. However, it's a comfortable save for Cuellar.
3'
A decent start for Leganes, who have seen a lot of the ball in the opening few minutes, and the home fans will be dreaming of another memorable victory after knocking Zidane's side out of the Copa Del Rey last month.
1'
KICK-OFF! We're underway in the lesser-known Madrid derby. Real Madrid get us started and will attack to the right in the first half.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the La Liga clash between Leganes and Real Madrid, where both sides are in need of points for two entirely different reasons.
Leganes, sat 13th in the La Liga standings, have seen their form drop significantly following a stellar start to the season. The side on the outskirts of Madrid have now gone five matches without a win and risk being sucked into the relegation battle below them, although they currently have an 11 point cushion.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have already seen their La Liga title defence turn into a case of damage limitation. Arch rivals Barcelona are running away with the league and Zinedine Zidane's side find themselves fourth in the standings. However, they can rise to third if they win their game in hand today.
This clash has been a long time coming since being postponed due to Real Madrid's involvement in the Club World Cup and Zidane will be pleased that their form since the turn of the year has improved. They've lost just once in 2018, although they're yet to keep a clean sheet in La Liga since the New Year.
Leganes were La Liga's surprise package before the turn of the year but have seen things slip since. Just two victories have been tasted in the league since the turn of the year and the chances of ending a five match winless run across all competitions today are very slim.
It's just over 20 minutes until we get underway at Butarque, so let's take a look at the team news.
Leganes XI: Ivan Cuellar; Diego Rico, Dimitrios Siovas, Unai Bustinza, Tito; Gerard Gumbau, Gabriel Pires; Nabil El Zhar, Javier Eraso, Omar Ramos; Claudio Beavue.
Real Madrid XI: Kiko Casilla; Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Theo Hernandez; Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic; Lucas Vazquez, Isco, Marco Asensio; Karim Benzema.
Leganes subs: Nereo Champagne, Ruben Perez, Martin Mantovani, Raul Garcia, Nordin Amrabat, Miguel Angel Guerrero, Joseba Zaldua.
Real Madrid subs: Nacho, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Borja Mayoral, Luca Zidane, Achraf Hakimi, Gareth Bale.
Leganes make five changes to the side 3-0 by Girona last time out, with Zaldua, Mantovani, Perez and Amrabat dropping to the bench. The other absence from that game is Ezequiel Munoz, who doesn't make the squad. Three of those changes are in defence, with only Tito keeping his spot on the right side.
Zidane also makes five changes to the side that dramatically beat Real Betis 5-3 at the weekend, with the big absence being that of Cristiano Ronaldo. Keylor Navas and Marcelo also don't make the squad, whilst Nacho and Bale are on the bench. Hernandez, Casilla, Varane, Benzema and Isco all come in.
HALF TIME! The referee brings the end of an entertaining first half, which started superbly for Leganes as Unai Bustinza netted early on. Lucas Vazquez soon levelled the scores though and then turned provider later in the half, setting up Casemiro to bring an end to a superb attacking move.
Leganes will be happy with their first half performance but will be frustrated with the equalising goal they conceded, as the defence tried to play out of the back and were punished. Asier Garitano will want more from his players in the attacking third, where they've struggled to create opportunities from open play.
For Real Madrid, it's a continuation on the story of their season so far- they were caught napping early on, managed to find a way back but haven't established a comfortable foothold in the game. Zidane will be pleased that his side fought back into the game though as the decision to rotate looked to have backfired initially.
Seems Leganes are going to make a change, I'll update you with the details on that!
FULL TIME! Real Madrid earn all three points but it was far from a convincing performance from Zidane's side. They fell behind early on to Unai Bustinza's header but Lucas Vazquez soon had them level, then turning provider for Casemiro. It was touch-and-go throughout the second period but the result was tied up at the death, where Sergio Ramos tucked home after a foul brought Mateo Kovacic's run to an end.
Leganes will certainly feel that this was a missed opportunity as the game was there for the taking but they didn't show the sort of intent after the break that was required. They remain 11 points above the relegation zone and could all but secure their safety this weekend as they clash with Las Palmas, who occupy La Liga's final relegation spot.
For Real Madrid, it's an expected victory but we saw the same old story- as Zidane's side didn't fully impress and could have seen things go against them. They rise to third in the table, overtaking Valencia, and now face a flurry of fixtures against Alaves, Espanyol and Getafe before travelling to Paris in the Champions League.
