Late chance for Dembele! The ball breaks loose to the Frenchman and sets him up to shoot from the edge of the penalty area, but his curling effort is poorly hit and bounces straight into the hands of Chichizola.
90' +5
Dembele bursts into the box after cutting inside quickly from deep down the right wing, but his final touch is a heavy one and he has the ball blasted away before he can get a shot away.
90' +4
J. Calleri gets yellow.
Calleri is booked for timewasting after taking his time getting to his feet. I'm sure he won't mind too much.
90' +3
A deep cross from Coutinho flies over to the right-hand side of the Las Palmas penalty area and finds Rakitic, who blasts the ball off a yellow shirt and behind for a corner. It's taken short and worked back to the Croatian, who has his pocked picked by Calleri and then fouls the striker from behind.
90' +1
Messi breaks down the left wing and wins Barcelona a late corner. It's blocked at the near post and bounces back to the Argentine, who tries to skip past Etebo but can't get the better of the hard-working midfielder.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be six minutes of added time. Where did they come from?!
88'
Nervous whistles can be heard all around at the stadium as Barcelona pass the ball around deep inside the Las Palmas half of the pitch. The home side have performed brilliantly this evening and certainly deserve to leave with a point.
86'
David García enters the game and replaces Jairo Samperio.
Samperio gingerly makes his way off the pitch to be replaced by Garcia.
85'
Las Palmas seem to be struggling with two injured players, as both Samperio and Etebo have gone down off the ball. The former is holding his hamstring, and it looks as if he's going to have to be replaced.
83'
Almost a great opportunity for Halilovic! A lovely pass from Aguirregaray flies down the left wing and picks out Tana in a really promising position. The attacking midfielder knocks a pass into the box and towards the unmarked Halilovic, but the ball is underhit and can't quite find the Croatian.

Description
82'
Dembele bursts down the right flank once again before trying to send another cross into the penalty area, but this time he can't get the better of Aguirregaray and the defender, who has really impressed tonight, shepherds the ball out for a goal-kick.
80'
The game gets underway once again as Calleri receives treatment over on the touchline. Barcelona try to make their numerical advantage count as they go on the front foot, but Suarez can't control a curling cross from Dembele after meeting it well inside the box.
78'
Ouch! Calleri slides into Vermaelen and tries to dispossess the centre-back, but he instead receives a boot to the face as the Belgian blasts the ball up the pitch. It's left the Las Palmas striker with a nasty cut that will need to be looked at.
76'
Michel Macedo enters the game and replaces Dani Castellano.
Meanwhile, Las Palmas have had to replace Castellano with Michel after the defender went down holding his hamstring.
75'
O. Dembélé enters the game and replaces Andrés Iniesta.
Dembele comes on to replace Iniesta, who receives a round of applause from both sets of fans as he makes way.
74'
Poor from Digne! It looks as if Barcelona are going to carve out an opportunity on goal after good play deep inside the hosts' half of the pitch, but Digne's cross from the left-hand side of the box is woeful and sails behind for a goal-kick.
72'
Barcelona are seeing more of the ball now but are still struggling to do a great deal with it. Unable to break down the Las Palmas back line, a lofted pass is fired forward in search of Suarez, but Chichizola is there to rush out and head the ball away with a smart clearance.
70'
A. Aquilani enters the game and replaces Vicente Gómez.
Las Palmas have made a switch in midfield, with Aquilani coming on to take the place of Gomez.
69'
Messi steps up and shoots, but this time his curling strike is a poor one and fails to beat the wall of yellow shirts camped on the edge of the box.
68'
Alejandro Gálvez gets yellow.
Another tackle on Messi, another yellow card. This time it's Galvez who's booked, meaning all of Las Palmas' defenders are now on yellow cards. This is another good chance for Messi...
67'
Messi decides to chip a cross into the box instead of shooting and picks out Rakitic, who manages to get his head on the ball but can't find a team-mate with his downward header, allowing the home side to easily clear the danger.
66'
O. Etebo gets yellow.
A Las Palmas attacking move breaks down and allows Messi to counter-attack, but, not for the first time this evening, the Argentine is cynically scythed to the ground and it's Etebo whose name enters the referee's book.
65'
Calleri, who has really impressed tonight, cuts inside from the right flank on a clever run and bursts into the box. He then tries to poke a pass over to a team-mate but can only find the hands of Ter Stegen at the near post.
63'
I. Rakitić enters the game and replaces Paulinho.
Barcelona have made another change, with Paulinho making way for Rakitic.
62'
Thumping strike by Suarez! The set-piece initially fails to result in a chance on goal, but Barcelona come back once again. A lovely cross from Busquets picks out the Uruguayan, whose first shot is blocked and second flies a yard or so wide of the near post.
61'
Coutinho twists and turns on the edge of the Las Palmas penalty area before playing a quick one-two with Suarez. He then looks to shoot from close range, but Navarro is there to fire the ball over the crossbar and behind for a corner.
60'
What a tackle by Aguirregaray! Messi looks set to go one-on-one with Chichizola after breaking through the hosts' back line, but Aguirregaray pulls off a wonderful - and perfectly timed - sliding tackle to dispossess the Argentine before he can shoot.
59'
The visitors pile plenty of bodies deep into the Las Palmas half of the pitch as they try to get back in front. Busquets fires a clever pass up to the edge of the penalty area and finds Messi, who pulls off a quick flick that Chichizola blasts away from danger.
57'
Philippe Coutinho enters the game and replaces Aleix Vidal.
Barcelona have made their first alteration of the night, with Coutinho coming on for the largely ineffective Vidal.
56'
Navarro starts running on the edge of the Las Palmas penalty area and wins a corner after reaching the left-hand side of the Barcelona's. It's initially cleared before Halilovic bursts into the box and looks to shoot, but he loses his footing before he can do so and Barcelona hold on.
55'
Messi shrugs off two Las Palmas players as he bursts through the middle of the pitch before teeing up Iniesta, who tries to get the better of Galvez but is dispossessed by a great tackle from the centre-back.
53'
It's Galvez who steps up and shoots from the set-piece, but there's far too much power behind the strike and it sails high over the top of the crossbar.
52'
S. Umtiti gets yellow.
Etebo shows great place as he sprints deep into the Barcelona half of the pitch and towards the box, where he's clumsily bundled over by Umtiti and wins Las Palmas a free-kick in a promising position.
50'
Las Palmas quickly win the ball back from the restart and try to counter-attack over on the left wing, but, after initially getting the better of Roberto, Samperio can't quite latch onto the ball and it bounces behnid for a goal-kick.
48'
Penalty goal scored by J. Calleri for Las Palmas!
GOAL! It doesn't matter for the hosts, though, as they now find themselves back in the game. Calleri's shot is a good one and finds the top right-hand corner of the net to make it 1-1.
47'
PENALTY! What a start for Las Palmas! The hosts win themselves a quick corner, which causes problems for the Barcelona defence as it flies towards the far post. It looks as if the visitors have cleared the danger but the referee instead points to the spot. Nobody, including the Las Palmas players, seems to know what for though...
46'
We're underway once again!
45'
Big call by the referee! A quick pass is fired deep into the Las Palmas half of the pitch and towards the penalty area. Chichizola bursts out and reaches the ball ahead of Suarez, but he knocks it up into the arm as he does so. The Barcelona players immediately scream for a free-kick and a possible red card, but the referee isn't at all interested and instead blows for half-time.
44'
Las Palmas lose the ball inside their own half of the pitch, and once again Barcelona burst forward on a quick counter-attack. Suarez and Paulinho link up nicely before the latter tries to find Messi in front of goal, but the ball ricochets off him and out for a goal-kick.
43'
Suarez twists and turns over on the right-hand side of the Las Palmas penalty area before poking a pass towards Messi, but it's deflected behind and he has to settle for a corner. The set-piece is whipped towards the near post and bounces over to Vermaelen, whose first touch is poor and knocks the ball out for a throw-in.
41'
Sergi Roberto gets yellow.
The yellow card is out once again, and this time it's Roberto who finds himself on the receiving end of the referee's wrath after throwing the ball away as Las Palmas try to take a quick throw-in.
40'
Space opens up for Etebo, who manages to get himself into a good position five or so yards outside of the Barcelona box. The ball sits up nicely for the Nigerian and allows him to quickly shoot, but his thumping strike bounces wide of the far post after giving Ter Stegen a slight scare.
38'
Once again, good play by Las Palmas in the middle of the pitch almost results in another chance on goal for the home side, but Digne is there to close down Castellano and knock the ball out for a throw-in.
36'
A rare loose pass from Iniesta denies Messi the chance to sprint forward and allows Las Palmas to counter-attack. A lovely ball from Gomez flies over the Barcelona back line and finds Calleri, who gets the better of Roberto but can't hit the target with his close-range shot from a tight angle.
34'
Once again, Barcelona move the ball around with great speed and flair deep inside the Las Palmas half of the pitch, but just as it looks as if it's going to find Paulinho inside the box, the ball deflects into the hands of Chichizola.
32'
Las Palmas quickly make their way down the left channel, and they manage to win themselves a corner. It's initially dealt with by Barcelona but falls to Etebo, who shoots from 30 yards and sends his thumping strike high over the crossbar.
30'
Messi looks set to test Chichizola for the second time this evening after lovely play by Barcelona on the edge of the hosts' box, but Suarez's pass can't quite find the onrushing Argentine and the ball deflects into the hands of the Las Palmas goalkeeper.
28'
An attempted Barcelona attack comes to an end and Las Palmas quickly break away down the right flank. Aguirregaray gets himself into a good position and fires a clever pass into the path of Halilovic, who tries to get the better of Digne but is easily dispossessed.
26'
A clever cross from Suarez almost picks out Paulinho, but the Brazilian can't quite reach it and has to settle for a corner. The set-piece is also well executed and finds Umtiti, who reaches the ball well and forces Chichizola into making a decent diving save.
25'
Halilovic steps up and shoots from the free-kick, but his curling strike from just outside of the penalty area is a poor one and curls several yards over the top of the crossbar.
24'
L. Digne gets yellow.
Tackles fly in all over the place as Las Palmas pile bodies into the Barcelona half of the pitch. Etebo eventually breaks towards the box and is dragged back by Paulinho, resulting in a free-kick, but it's Digne who receives a yellow card for an earlier challenge.
22'
Las Palmas quickly push forward from the restart as they try to break down the right wing, but Calleri's run through the Barcelona back line is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised as soon as he receives the ball.
21'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOAL! Wonderful strike by Messi! From a similar position to the last free-kick, the Argentine steps up and fires a brilliant shot straight past Chichizola and into the top left-hand corner of the net.
20'
Ximo Navarro gets yellow.
It hasn't been entirely plain sailing for Barcelona so far, but Messi is causing plenty of problems. Once again a Las Palmas player is shown a yellow card for bringing down the Argentine, and this time it's Navarro who is booked.
18'
Acrobatic effort by Aguirregaray! The full-back gets himself into a good position deep down the right wing and fires a cross off Iniesta for a corner. The set-piece is swung into the box and nodded over to the Uruguayan, who is all alone in front of goal but can't quite pull off his attempted overhead kick.
16'
Halilovic storms forward once again after good play by Calleri over on the left flank, but the young midfielder can't quite find his way into the penalty area due to good defending from Iniesta.
14'
A lofted pass is fired deep into the Barcelona half of the pitch and finds Calleri, who is immediately pushed to the ground by Umtiti. The home side are awarded a free-kick and it's Halilovic who shoots from it, but his strike is poor and fails to beat the wall.
12'
Almost a chance for Galvez! Las Palmas push forward on their first attacking move of the evening and go close to carving out a good opportunity on goal. Former Barcelona player Halilovic cuts inside from the right wing and fires a cross over to the far post, where Galvez sticks out a foot but can't quite reach the ball.
11'
Great save by Chichizola! It's Messi who steps up and shoots from the resulting free-kick, but his curling shot is tipped round the post by a lovely diving stop from the goalkeeper.
10'
Dani Castellano gets yellow.
Messi easily spins round Castellano and breaks towards the box, but he's dragged to the ground by a rugby tackle from the Las Palmas defender and once again the referee reaches for a yellow card.
9'
The resulting set-piece is swung over to the far post and does well to pick out Vermaelen, who tries to pull off a flicked volley with his back to goal but can't quite hit the target with his effort.
8'
Huge chance for Barcelona to open the scoring! Navarro is caught sleeping on the ball, allowing Messi to steal it from under his nose before sprinting towards the Las Palmas box. It's two on one for the visitors and Messi eventually pokes a pass over to Suarez, but his ball towards the Uruguayan is underhit and Chichizola is there to make sure the ball bounces out for a corner.
7'
Messi dances his way through a sea of yellow before picking out Vidal on the right-hand side of the hosts' box. Vidal then pokes a quick pass back to Messi and manages to pick out the forward, but, under pressure, he can only knock the ball behind for a goal-kick.
5'
M. Aguirregaray gets yellow.
There may be only five minutes on the clock but Aguirregaray has already received a yellow card. He's rounded by Iniesta and cynically kicks the midfielder to the ground, leaving the referee with no choice but to book him.
3'
Poor play from Las Palmas deep inside their own half of the pitch results in a throw-in for Barcelona midway inside the hosts' half of the pitch. It's been a relatively relaxing start to the game from the league leaders, who look content to take their time on the ball.
1'
We're off! Barcelona get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s LaLiga game between Las Palmas and Barcelona at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
Another worrying defeat for Real Madrid, coupled with a Valencia draw, means the fight for the league crown is firmly between Barcelona and nearest challengers Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos mercilessly thumped Leganes last night to close the gap between them and the leaders to just four points, but an in-form Barcelona side will open that up once again if they’re victorious this evening.
The Blaugrana will certainly be brimming with confidence heading into today’s clash. They comfortably thrashed Girona 6-1 in their last LaLiga outing, meaning only two of their last 11 league games have failed to end in victories. Ernesto Valverde’s men remain unbeaten in the competition after 25 games, and with a whopping 46 points separating the two sides, shouldn’t have too many problems tonight.
In stark contrast to their illustrious opponents, Las Palmas are fighting for survival at the other end of the table. The bottom four sides now find themselves cut off from the rest, with Levante, Deportivo La Coruna and tonight’s hosts all battling for 17th place. The Canary Islanders have just one win from their last five outings - against bottom side Malaga - and just five all season.
Unsurprisingly, Barcelona have dominated this fixture in recent years, with each of the last five meetings between the two teams ending in victories for the Catalan side. On only two occasions in their history have Las Palmas avoided defeat against the current LaLiga leaders, and the closest they came to beating them on this ground was a goalless draw all the way back in November 2001.
With a potentially title deciding clash against Atletico fast approaching, Barcelona will be hoping to come away with three easily earned points this evening. They were comfortably able to do so when the two sides met at Camp Nou back in October, with a Lionel Messi double and a first league goal for almost three years for Sergio Busquets sealing the victory.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Barcelona XI (4-4-2): Marc-Andre Ter Stegen; Sergi Roberto, Thomas Vermaelen, Samuel Umtiti, Lucas Digne; Aleix Vidal, Sergio Busquets, Paulinho, Andres Inesta; Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez.
Las Palmas XI (4-2-3-1): Leandro Chichizola; Matias Aguirregaray, Ximo Navarro, Alejandro Galvez; Dani Castellano; Oghenekaro Etebo, Vicente Gomez; Alen Halilovic, Tana, Jairo Samperio; Jonathan Calleri.
Las Palmas substitutes: Raul Lizoain, David Garcia, Michel, Javi Castellano, Hernan Toledo, Alberto Aquilani, Erik Exposito.
Barcelona substitutes: Jasper Cillessen, Gerard Pique, Andre Gomes, Ivan Rakitic, Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, Paco Alcacer.
Paco Jemez has decided to make two changes to the Las Palmas side that drew against Leganes last weekend, with Castellano and Samperio coming into the starting line-up to replace Michel and Nacho Gil, respectively.
Meanwhile, Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has made six alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Nelson Semedo, Pique, Jordi Alba, Dembele, Rakitic and Coutinho making way for Roberto, Vermaelen, Digne, Paulinho, Iniesta and Vidal.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: LAS PALMAS 0-1 BARCELONA
It certainly hasn't been entirely plain sailing for Barcelona, who may lead at the half-time break but need to up their game in the second period if they're to come away with all three points. A spectacular Messi free-kick is all that separates these two sides, and an impressive performance from Las Palmas so far means they're still well in this.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: LAS PALMAS 1-1 BARCELONA
The referee finally blows his whistle and the Las Palmas fans and players burst into celebration. The struggling side really did put in a fantastic shift this evening, and they're deservedly able to leave with a point. It could be a hugely important one come the end of the season.
As for Barcelona, they will be understandably disappointed with the result. Despite the fact that it means they remain unbeaten in the league, they now must head into their huge clash with second-place Atletico just five points clear of their nearest challengers. That should be an absolutely excellent game.
