Valera's cross is cleared to the edge of the area where Badelj takes aim, but he sends it right down the throat of Donnarumma. And that may be that.
90' +2
Paletta drapes himself all over Kalinic and does well to get his head to the ball, clearing what would have been a dangerous knock-down. Valero then tries to wriggle free from Suso, but Abate is across to help out.
90'
Milan seem to be comfortable closing this game out here. There's simply not enough being shown in attack from Fiorentina, as it has been for the entirety of the second half. Into stoppage time now.
88'
Rodriguez goes long through the middle and just when Kalinic appeared to be marshalled by the defender, he bursts into an inch of space. However, by that time Donnarumma had already taken control of the situation.
86'
A. Poli enters the game and replaces J. Sosa.
Late change here as Poli heads on for Sosa.
85'
TATARUSANU KEEPS FIORENTINA IN IT! Milan with their first sustained period of attacking football in a while, and Abate is played through inside the full-back, striking low and hard only to be thwarted by the Romanian keeper!
83'
Saponara fakes to lay the ball off for Vecino, but instead continues to glide forward on the right-hand side. However, the cross from the substitute is well over the head of his teammates.
81'
R. Saponara enters the game and replaces J. Iličić.
Saponara is introduced and off goes Ilicic.
Poor giveaway from Sosa, and that presents Kalinic with the chance to burst forward from a central possession. He has Saponara in support on the right but opts for an ambitious effort that heads into the keeper's arms.
78'
Ilicic once again fails to do enough with a dead-ball opportunity, as his high ball is cleared by the first defender. Fiorentina on a whole have not done enough to turn their possession into chances.
76'
Slender advantage for Milan as they continue to defend against waves and waves of Fiorentina pressure. Crucially, Donnarumma continues to be a spectator in goal, suggesting that the defence is doing their job.

Description
74'
Suso gets yellow.
PENALTY? Suso tries to burst past Rodriguez in the area, but goes down under pressure from the defender. However, the referee correctly spotted that the Milan man sold the contact, and he's booked for simulation.
73'
A. Bertolacci enters the game and replaces Deulofeu.
C. Zapata enters the game and replaces J. Kucka.
The goalscorer Deulofeu is brought off for Bertolacci.
More changes as Kucka is replaced by Zapata.
71'
M. Badelj enters the game and replaces S. Cristóforo.
Cristian Tello enters the game and replaces F. Chiesa.
Tello has bee introduced in place of Chiesa.
Badelj is on and off goes Cristoforo.
Great play from Vecino to spot the gap between Paletta and Gomez, and thread it through for Ilicic to chase. However, the attacker couldn't get his shot away quickly enough and it was blocked.
68'
Vangioni has had a tough time in defence, but he makes a great move on the left side of the Fiorentina box to evade his man and create space for the cross - which is promptly out for a goal-kick.
65'
Ilicic, who has been very active off the ball in this game, robs Vangioni of possession cleanly on the edge of the area, but his quick ball to Kalinic sells the striker short, and the chance evaporates.
63'
IMPORTANT interception from Paletta, as a ball from midfield had Valero and Ilicic both adopting great positions, getting ready to burst through for a one-on-one with Donnarumma.
61'
You get the feeling that the home supporters are getting agitated that there's not more coming from their side, who are loowing Fiorentina to dominate the ball. Donnarumma hasn't had much to do in the second period though.
59'
The ball hasn't left the Milan half in a few minutes now, as the visiting side continue to apply pressure and try to prise an opening. They've played some lovely stuff in the second half, but without the reward of a goal.
57'
This has been a good start to the second periond from Fiorentina, whose passing looks just that little bit crisper than Milan's. Their full-back play is still encouraging, and this game is far from finished.
54'
Ilicis' delivery is smacked into the wall but the visitors keep it alive, and Chiesa again makes inroads down the flank, getting a teasing ball that flashes menacingly across the face of goal!
53'
It was the correct decision from the referee, as even though Gomez was the last defender, it would be a stretch to call it a clear goalscoring opportunity. Some delay before the free-kick.
51'
G. Gómez gets yellow.
M. Vecino gets yellow.
Vecino is booked for leading the protests.
CONTROVERSY! A long ball over the top finds Kalinic in a race with Gomez, and the striker is fouled on the edge of the area. The referee brandishes a yellow card, but Fiorentina are adamant that it was a last-man foul!
48'
Remember that all the sides above Milan and Fiorentina in the table have won this weekend, meaning that tonight's result is extra important for these sides, who still have ambitions of making the Europa League places.
46'
Here we go again.
45' +2
Ilicic's delivery is ill-timed, and that will be that.
45' +1
L. Vangioni gets yellow.
Vangioni is the next player to be booked after slicing down Ilicic out wide. This free-kick will be the last play of the half.
45'
We're just about to enter injury time in the first half, and Milan are trying to press forward to fashion one last attack. However, some good defending from Rodriguez clears an early ball.
44'
C. Salcedo gets yellow.
Salcedo has had a difficult half, and compounds his misery with a foul on Suso that leads to a yellow card.
42'
Scoring goals hasn't really been a problem for FIorentina in this game, with only five sides having managed more than la Viola's tally of 42 and counting after 25 games.
40'
Ilicic sends a cross into the area which appears to hit Vangioni on the elbow, but that would have been an exceedingly harsh penalty call for the referee to make. He allows play to continue.
38'
This is not the response you would have expected from Fiorentina after going behind. They've abandoned the strong midfield play that characterized their earlier dominance.
35'
Deulofeu is played in again, and he profits from a miscue by Sanchez to isolate Carlos Salcedo on the left-hand side. He aims for the same corner he just scored in, but this time it's blocked.
33'
Milan have generally been second best in this game, but they've been far more ruthless with their chances. Fiorentina will be unhappy with conceding twice, with both goals very avoidable.
31'
Deulofeu has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by M. Pašalić.
Pasalic got the ball quickly to the ex-Barca man to do the rest.
TREMENDOUS EFFORT! Fiorentina turn the ball over and Deulofeu is on it in a flash. He skips past two players, opens his body up and slides a wonderful finish home.
28'
The game is starting to open up more as Sosa waits for the run of Abate, whose delivery is narrowly cleared by the defence. This looks like the type of battle between sides separated by only a point.
25'
Chiesa has been very impressive out on the right side of defence, and he bombs forward once again, getting past Vangioni to link with Ilicic, who skips past his initial marker before losing the ball.
23'
That goal seems to have flattened Milan, and the home side are struggling to nip the ball off Fiorentina. The extra man in midfield is certainly helping la Viola control the tempo of this one.
20'
N. Kalinić has scored a goal for Fiorentina! Assist by F. Chiesa.
Good move from the youngster out wide.
KALINIC TIES IT UP! The striker profits from a fantastic cross towards the back post, as Chiesa curled a low one in with his left boot. He arrived ahead of Gomez to tap home.
18'
There seems to be a lack of communication between Bacca and the wide players, as he's not been picked out on a few runs now. Some words between the Colombian and Deulofeu.
16'
J. Kucka has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by J. Sosa.
Sosa delivered the telling set-piece.
KUCKA MAKES THE BREAKTHROUGH! Fiorentina will be bitterly disappointed at conceding that. A free-kick from a mile out was whipped into the box, and the Slovakian got there before Davide Astori and headed home.
14'
Fiorentina continue to accomplish little on the ball, and they're starting to slack on getting back when they do lose possession. Milan though, apart from that Abate run earlier, aren't doing enough to exploit that.
12'
Valero shifts the ball onto his left foot and fires away on goal, drawing a smart save from Gianluigi Donnarumma. From the resulting corner, the Spaniard can't pick out a teammate.
10'
A really good ball out of the back for Milan finds Ignazio Abate onside and behind the full-back. He plays the ball early into the six-yard box in expectation of a run from Carlos Bacca that never arrived.
8'
There's not a whole lot of ball movement from la Viola even though they're controlling possession so far. Milan are clearly playing on the counter and looking to push the ball wide.
5'
Early chance perhaps for Milan as they win a free-kick on the left-hand side after Carlos Sanchez committed a hard foul. Sosa takes the set-piece, but bends it onto the roof of the net.
3'
Not a whole lot to excite the fans in the opening exchanges. This match is crucial for both sides with little breathing room between them in the table.
1'
Off we go.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Serie A match between AC Milan and Fiorentina at San Siro.
A late goal from Suso gave AC Milan a well-earned point away to Lazio, but the Rossoneri have only won one of their last five in all competitions. They currently sit seventh, and were dumped out of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals by Juventus.
Fiorentina are a point and a place behind Milan in the Serie A table, and come into this match with confidence after a 1-0 win away to Borussia Monchengladbach in the Europa League midweek. They also comfortably won their last league fixture 3-0 at home to Udinese.
Federico Bernardeschi is suspended for the away side, giving Josep Ilicic a chance in attack. Riccardo Saponara is also beaten to a starting berth by Borja Valero in what is an expected 3-4-3 lineup from Paulo Sousa.
Milan have a long injury list to contend with, Giacomo Bonaventura, Luca Antonelli and Riccardo Montolivo leading the absentees. Leonel Vangioni and Gustavo Gomez therefore get starts in defence, but Manuel Locatelli will still have to wait on the bench.
So we're at half-time, and Milan hold a 2-1 lead thanks to Deulofeu's wonderful curler. Kucka and Kalinic had traded goals earlier in what has been an enjoyable opening period. There's plenty to play for and I'll be back with the restart soon.
And that's the end of the game, as Milan put in a committed display at the back to earn themselves a vital win which takes them within three points of Lazio in sixth. Deulofeu's fine goal in the first half ended up being the winner, with Fiorentina unable to turn possession into a credible threat on Donnarumma's goal. That's all from us, thanks for tuning in!
