We've seen plenty of goals here tonight, which has surely set up an entertaining second leg. Despite not leading the tie heading into next week, they will be confident of still being able to overcome Celta, with their two away goals. Plus they are far better defensively at home than they are away from home.
85'
S. Schrijvers gets yellow.
Another Genk player goes into the book, this time a yellow card is shown to Siebe Schrijvers who has only been on the pitch a matter of minutes.
84'
The pace of the game has rapidly declined here, with not long to go on the clock now. However, that is understandable considering the pace of the opening 45 minutes when both teams really pushed forward in attack.
82'
S. Schrijvers enters the game and replaces L. Trossard.
Here comes the second Genk substitution of the game. Leandro Trossard has been superb tonight, providing the two assists for Genk's goals and he is replaced by Siebe Schrijvers.
81'
Not long to go now in this game. Both sides still look dangerous going forward and either side could get on the score-sheet one more time.
79'
WHAT A CHANCE! Aspas with a great opportunity to score a fourth Celta goal! The forward has been lively throughout and he almost got on the score-sheet again tonight, as he was allowed too much time and space in the box so he turned and fired a low shot at goal. His effort forces Ryan to get down quickly and pull off a fantastic save to tip the shot wide and prevent a goal.
78'
Jozabed enters the game and replaces D. Wass.
Second Celta substitution of the game, with Daniel Wass the man who is coming off and he is replaced by Jozabed Sánchez Ruiz.

CHANCE! Hernandez with a fierce long-range shot at goal, which forces Ryan to make a good save to tip it over the bar and out for a corner. The resulting corner is well cleared by Genk.
73'
L. Trossard gets yellow.
Trossard is the second player to receive a yellow card here, this for a cynical challenge in the middle of the pitch. He can't have many complaints.
72'
This is much better from Genk. They are now full of confidence and are pushing forward in search of a third goal.
70'
Genk have played well throughout tonight, they have just been undone by defensive mistakes. However that second goal was nothing more than they have deserved. Now they will be confident of scoring more and taking a huge advantage into the second leg.
67'
T. Buffel has scored a goal for Genk!
C. Beauvue enters the game and replaces J. Guidetti.
Here is the Celta Vigo substitution and as expected it is John Guidetti who is heading off, and he is replaced by Claudio Beauvue.
GOOOAAALLL! GENK PULL ONE BACK! Thomas Buffel has made it 3-2! Trossard once again was the provider, he twisted and turned down the left flank and whipped a ball into the box, which Castro fails to read and doesn't realise the Buffel is right behind him. The left-back leaves the ball, but Buffel meets it, fires a shot at goal which is well saved by Sergio. However the rebound falls straight back to the veteran midfielder and he makes no mistakes this time.
64'
It looks like Celta might be about to make their first substitution of the game now as Guidetti appears to be struggling with an injury. The striker was a doubt heading into the game and it looks like he may be departing the game very soon.
62'
T. Buffel enters the game and replaces J. Boëtius.
Genk make the first substitution of the game, with the visitors goalscorer Jean-Paul Boëtius the man coming off and he is replaced by Thomas Buffel.

58'
Brief stoppage in play here at Colley is down receiving medical treatment, following a collison but he looks fine to continue.
56'
CHANCE CELTA! Clever ball in behind by Hernandez into the path of Aspas deep in the Genk penalty area, however Ryan was quick off his line to close the angle for the shot. The ball is then played back to the skipper Mallo, who takes a touch before firing a shot at goal, but Ryan makes a good save. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
53'
The hosts have certainly slowed the pace of the game and are playing at their own speed, spraying the ball around the pitch and looking comfortable. However, the atmosphere has gone a little flat here inside the Estadio de Balaídos, another chance for the hosts would certainly liven up the crowd.
50'
Celta look very comfortable at the moment, they are passing the ball around with ease in the middle of the pitch and deservedly so after a superb attacking performance in the first half. However they still need to be wary of Genk's strengths in attack as they will be keen to score another away goal.
48'
STAT: Genk's eight meetings with Spanish sides have ended with only won victory at home and they have lost three of their four ties in Spain. They have already lost in Spain this season, going down 5-3 at Athletic Club in the group stage, with home striker Aritz Aduriz becoming the first player to score five goals in a UEFA Europa League match.

Malinovskiy goes close with a free-kick! The dipping free-kick looks to be easily gathered by Sergio, but the Celta goalkeeper almost lets it slip under his body and into the back of the net! Thankfully for him, it goes wide of the goal instead and he can gather the ball on the second attempt.
41'
Genk's defensive frailties have shown tonight. Despite playing well and looking dangerous going forward, they have been opened up at the back by a confident Celta side.
38'
J. Guidetti has scored a goal for Celta Vigo! Assist by Iago Aspas.
That's a goal and an assist for Aspas already here tonight. This time turning the provider as Guidetti fired home the fourth goal of the evening.
GOOOAAALLL! IT'S THREE! John Guidetti is on the scoresheet and to give Celta a 3-1 lead! Genk were on the counter-attack but Celta won the ball back in midfield and pushes forward straight away. Guidetti ran at the Genk defence, played a one-two with Aspas and then fired a low strike straight into the bottom corner. Excellent counter which was rounded off with a very good goal.
37'
CHANCE GENK! Malinovskiy works his way into the box, after a good one-two between himself and Uronen. Malinovskiy then attempts to find Boëtius in the box but the ball is cut out by Fontas. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
35'
This action packed first half is entering it's final stages now. Can Genk grab an equalising goal before the break? Or will Celta extend their lead, with Guidetti looking very dangerous every time he touches the ball.
32'
Celta move the ball forward through Aspas and Guidetti down the right flank, excellent one-two touch football which gets them into the penalty area. Guidetti then tries to pull the ball across goal for a teammate, but Genk get numbers back in time to clear the danger.
30'
Genk are enjoying a good spell of possession here in the middle of the pitch, but they are struggling to create anything going forward and this has been the case since they opened the scoring on ten minutes.
27'
T. Castagne gets yellow.
Timothy Castagne is the first player to receive a yellow card here tonight for a blatant trip on Pione Sisto. The resulting free-kick is taken quickly and easily gathered by Ryan.
25'
Celta's last quarter-final came in 2000/01 when Barcelona barred their path to the last four of the UEFA Cup. They were one of the winners of the 2000 UEFA Intertoto Cup, but have never got as far as the semi-finals in a major European competition.
22'
HUGE CHANCE! It was more good football from the hosts. Guidetti linking up well with Jonny Castro down the left flank, the Swedish international then pulled the ball back for his teammate who fires narrowly wide of the goal from the six-yard box.
20'
Breathless stuff here at the Estadio de Balaídos! It was always going to be a game full of goals with both teams having such quality attacking players, along with Genk's defensive vulnerabilities.
17'
Iago Aspas has scored a goal for Celta Vigo!
GOOOAAALLL! CELTA TAKE THE LEAD! Iago Aspas has made it 2-1 to the hosts! The forward has barely touched the ball so far tonight, but he has shown his quality there! The former Liverpool man was given far too much time and space on the edge of the box and he fired a low shot straight into the bottom left-hand corner. Excellent finish.
15'
P. Sisto has scored a goal for Celta Vigo! Assist by J. Guidetti.
John Guidetti has been at the forefront of everything Celta have done well so far tonight and it was his ball into the path of Aspas, who then fired the Spanish side into the lead.
GOOOAAALLL! CELTA EQUALISE! Pione Sisto Ifolo Emirmija has drawn the hosts level just minutes later! Excellent play by Guidetti who passed to his teammate on the edge of the box, Emirmija then slotted the ball with ease past Ryan.
12'
That goal seems to have shocked the home supporters, the atmosphere has certainly gone down here. However there is still plenty of time to respond.
10'
J. Boëtius has scored a goal for Genk! Assist by L. Trossard.
Trossard did brilliantly to beat his man down the left flank and then whip a perfect ball into the penalty area. Excellent counter-attacking football!
GOOOAAALLL! GENK TAKE THE LEAD! Jean-Paul Boëtius with an excellent diving header which is fumbled into the back of the net by Sergio Alvarez. Just moments earlier the hosts had a free-kick in the attacking third that was wasted. Genk that went on the counter-attack straight away and a cross came into the box by Leandro Trossard , straight into the path of Boetius who made no mistake. A vital away goal for Genk.
9'
Genk are set up well tonight, at the moment they are playing more like the home side with more intent attacking play. However Celta have plenty of strong attacking players who can cause them problems, including John Guidetti and Iago Aspas.
8'
STAT: Genk have scored 18 goals in their last seven away days in the Europa League and seen at least three goals in six of them. They have also scored in these away games, keeping one clean sheet at the other end.
5'
Neither side have been able to gain a considerable spell of possession so far tonight, it is end to end at the moment but both sides are failing to create any opportunities in the final third. It is all very comfortable for both teams.
3'
Genk have an excellent record away from home, they tend to score plenty of goals but can be vulnerable at the back, but an away goal here tonight would be crucial and surely a target for the visitors tonight.
2'
There is a great atmosphere inside the Estadio de Balaídos tonight, the home supporters are certainly making themselves heard and creating a wonderful setting here in Spain.

We are underway!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Europa League clash between Celta Vigo and Genk.
Celta Vigo will look to get a head start in their home tie, to take into the second leg of their quarter-final against Genk. Both sides are hoping to make it to the last four of a major UEFA competition for the first time. The hosts have endured a poor season domestically, sitting 10th in La Liga but they have more than made up for this in their Europa League campaign.
The Spanish side came second in their group behind Ajax, beating out Standard Liege and Panathinaikos to the knockout stages, before beating Shakhtar Donetsk and Krasnodar to make it to the quarter finals. However, they don’t come into this game in the best of form, having lost to Eibar at the weekend, which follows on from their midweek defeat at Valencia to make it four wins, two draws, and four defeats in their last ten outings in all competitions.
Genk, on the other hand, beat Roeselare 1-0 on Saturday to make it six games without defeat in all competitions, which includes five victories. In the Europa League the Belgians knocked out fellow countrymen Gent in the last round, thanks to a thrilling 5-2 victory away from home followed by a 1-1 draw at home. That was after their 3-2 aggregate win over Astra and them finishing top of their group in December.

CELTA VIGO (4-5-1): Sergio (GK); Hugo Mallo, Cabral, Fontàs, Jonny; Radoja, Wass; Sisto, Tucu Hernández, Aspas; Guidetti.
