Barcelona eased to a 3-0 win in the opening match of the Group Stage thanks to a brace from Lionel Messi and a strike from Rakitic in the second half. The Catalan club are need only a point this evening to secure their place in the next round of the competition, despite their misfire last time out against Olympiacos. Ernesto Valverde's were held to a goalless draw in Greece and will be determined to bounce back with a strong outing this evening.
Juventus will be keen to secure their place in the knockout phase to avoid their fate being decided in the final round matches. They are three points clear of Sporting Lisbon in second place, but that could change as the Portuguese side host Olympiacos tonight. As a result, there is pressure on Massimiliano Allegri's men to beat Barca this evening to avoid any final-day drama.

The Spanish outfit do have Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to thank as he made a brilliant save to deny Paulo Dybala at the death that would have won the game fo the home side. Ivan Rakitic did strike the post in the first half from a free-kick from distance, but it was a game of few chances in Turin.
