Vertonghen claims the assist after finding Son just outside his own box, but the forward had a fair bit more to do before finding the net.
GOAL!! WHAT A GOAL FROM SON! The South Korean picks the ball up just outside his own box and sprints through the middle of the pitch all the way to the Burnley penalty spot before curling past an onrushing Pope! It's an outstanding individual goal for Son, but Burnley had to do far better defensively there. It's 3-0 to Tottenham!

Alli didn't know much about it, but he got into an area that blocked Pope from coming to claim or punch the loose ball and made a nuisance of himself inside the box.

We're under way at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between Tottenham and Burnley.
Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United last time out, while Burnley were beaten 4-1 by Manchester City in their last game and will be hoping to avoid losing three games on the bounce.
Tottenham XI (4-2-3-1): Paulo Gazzaniga; Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen; Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko; Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min; Harry Kane.
Tottenham substitutes: Alfie Whiteman, Danny Rose, Troy Parrott, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon, Oliver Skipp, Christian Eriksen.
Burnley XI (4-4-2): Nick Pope; Matthew Lowton, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Erik Pieters; Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendrick, Jack Cork, Dwight McNeil; Jay Rodriguez, Chris Wood.
Burnley substitutes: Mace Goodridge, Ben Gibson, Daniel Drinkwater, Anthony Glennon, Aaron Lennon, Joe Hart, Matej Vydra.
Dyche will be absolutely furious at half-time. His side looked like conceding with every attack in the first 20 minutes, and could have been further behind if Sissoko hadn't hit the post when one-on-one. They did clip the bar themselves and could feel aggrieved to have had a goal disallowed for a foul on Gazzaniga, but they have simply not been good enough, in truth. They need to perform much better in the second half.
Tottenham travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League next, before a trip to Molineux to play Wolves in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Burnley host Newcastle United in their next game.
Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
